Ethan's gone, he calls every week or so just to check in and Anne's mostly ok with it. She's dating a lifeguard, Ben, and hanging out poolside with her BFF Tess. Life is good. Until she starts dreaming again. Baba Yaga, the hut, the forest. It's coming back to her and she's keeping it bottled up, along with the magic she thought would leave her body with Anastasia's rescue. Fighting it takes a toll but she can deal with it. Until one beautiful day. When Ethan shows back up, a mermaid starts talking to her and Ben almost drowns. Thank you, hott Russian guy for turning her world around...again. :)

I liked Anastasia. You saw the review, you know that I love the mixture of story and romance. Can I say this now: Haunted takes Dreaming Anastasia and ramps up the swoon, rips out your heart, confuses you and reveals stories I don't even know how Joy Preble came up with. Dreaming Anastasia was a great read but Haunted blows it out of the water! I didn't want to put this book down. And Ethan, oh sweet sweet Ethan. He's so rightous. And so caring. And patient. I wanted to just hug him, and then duplicate him so everyone could have their own! ALSO. I love learning bits of Russian and Russian folklore! I'm now super interested in what other stories they have, so if you know where I can find some kind of storybook or any other books like this PLEASE TELL ME!

OH and there's a book three coming out! According to Goodreads it's tentative title is Again and Again and it's due out in 2012! Get caught up now so you'll be ready for it!!
