I'm taking it back a year or 5, but I feel like I have to. Ever have moments in your life where you're just confused? You know what you want and you think you know how to get there but then there's that inexplicable object that stands in the way? Or maybe it's not as easy as you thought it would be. And you wonder. Is this right? Should I keep trying this? Well. That's been my life for about a week now.

Last night I dreamt that I was supposed to sing at some church talent show (I have NO idea where this came from) and some how I forgot the song I was supposed to sing. So I ran around trying to buy time to remember the lyrics of the song, instead of trusting my instincts and just counting on the music to remind me. (which is what my dream-self kept thinking would happen) - but I doubted myself. When I finally heard the first few notes I knew it all instantly and I was eager to sing - but I'd waited too long and they wouldn't let me.

When I recently realized where I wanted to go in my life I thought I was quickly on track. It turns out it's not a quick track at all. Instead of running around and trying to think for myself on how to make this happen, I'm just going to let go. Lay it all out there and see what happens. Oddly enough, this is the song in my dream that I couldn't remember. It's not going to be too late when I make it this time.

I love dreams. My friends and I always try to decode them and see what they could mean, I hope this one is to teach me not to hesitate - to just Go. And then I hope I dream about Zachary and...well...another time, maybe? : P
