Review: Lover Awakened

Lover Awakened

Now THIS my friends, is a WARRIOR. Holy holy hell. Zsadist peaked my interest in the first two books and well, with Rhage pissing me so thoroughly off, was the only reason I picked up book 3 of the BDB so quickly. Scarred, Broken, Dark and Brooding, Lethal. He's the one that doesn't fit in to a group and doesn't feel like he fits in his own skin either.

So what would Bella, an aristocrat from vampire's society want with him? A walk on the wild side? A one night stand? His reputation is that he kills females for sport, and she'd risk it?

Oh. Hell. Yes. Bella is one of my favorite "females" from the series thus far. She's tough and gentle at the same time but she isn't afraid to push. I love that she's a pusher. She'll walk away eventually, but this chick knows what she wants and isn't afraid to go after it.

Z is a warrior through and through. He's exactly what a warrior should be. He's tough as nails. He'll avenge you for anything that's been done wrong to you, but at the end of the day he's a layered man worthy of every peel you pull back. Z's got sides to him even I didn't see coming and trust me, I was waiting for them.

Out of the three books in the series I've read so far, I feel like this is the one. I've totally bonded with this book. Jen D, you may not want it back. Haha! Love love love. Love. Seriously. Give me the tatted up, yellow eyed bad ass any day of the week!!

OH! And I just found this on google image search! YUM.
